Welcome to our March Meetup for the Galway IT group.
As it is Women's History month, we are focusing this month's meetup on Women in Tech. Galway is a vibrant and diverse city full of wild and wonderful people. While we are better known for our arts and culture, that doesn't mean our technologists don't have their own fascinating stories to tell.
Come along to the PorterShed a Dó on Market Street, Galway on Thursday the 28th of March from 6:30pm-8:30pm. We will have one-two short talks from women working in tech in Galway, sharing their experiences.
If you cannot make it in person this week, we will also be live streaming our event. Please sign up here and we will post the link in the comments on the day.
This month we are having a discussion panel with
Trevagh Stankard (Senior Event and Partner Marketing Specialist @ TitanHQ) and Rebecca Springett (Solutions Engineer @ TitanHQ).
We will be discussing their careers and experiences and getting lot's of advice to further our own careers in IT.
