Adverts are the parasites of our digital lives. Popups, auto playing videos and banners - we've regressed to the bad old days of the internet in the name of profit. Even devices you've owned for years like Windows PCs, Smart TVs, fridges and cars have suddenly started serving ads when their manufacturers decided they needed more income.
While we cannot remove all of these adverts for you, we can sure get rid of a lot of them. Enter Pi-Hole, a network-wide ad blocker that runs on any old hardware from a Raspberry Pi Zero to an old laptop. Thanks to free VPN software like tailscale or netbird you can even use it on the go on your phone. We will teach you how it works, how to set it up and suggest other ad blocking methods for when Pi-Hole can't help.
