What we’re about
It's a noisy world, and it’s hard to find a place to slow down — where you can think, feel, and be curious without pressure.
MindSlí is that kind of place.
Each week in the heart of Galway, we gather for conversations that go a little deeper: about purpose, calm, friendship, meaning, and everything that makes us human.
You can join in two ways — depending on the mood you’re in.
## Two Ways to Join
THURSDAYS — Reflect & Connect (Guided, Paid)
A facilitated small group (up to 10) with thoughtful prompts, short journaling, and calm, moderated conversation. We draw on tools from The School of Life, psychology, and philosophy to explore what matters beneath the noise.
Booking recommended • €15 pp
FRIDAYS — Meaningful Conversations (Free, Non-Guided)
A lighter, open discussion around 3 big questions on a timely theme. We provide the questions and the space; the conversation unfolds naturally.
Free to attend
> Times are usually 6:00 PM. Any changes will be shown on the specific event listing.

The Lucifer Effect: How Context Creates Evil – A Group Discussion – €15 PP
Corbett Court Shopping Centre, 8, 9 Williamsgate St, Galway,H91 V5DX, Galway, IEWhat makes good people do harmful things? And how do we protect ourselves and others?
Most of us like to think we’d do the right thing — speak up, step in, refuse to comply.
But history (and psychology) suggests it's not so straighforward. When the system rewards cruelty, when the group stays silent, when no one’s watching… our choices can shift.
In this Reflect & Connect session, we’ll explore insights from psychologist Philip Zimbardo’s “The Lucifer Effect” — and ask why ordinary people sometimes become agents of harm.
You’ll reflect on group pressure, obedience, anonymity, and moral courage — all through thoughtful written prompts and quiet, small-group conversations. No need to share anything personal unless you want to.
This is not a lecture — it’s a space to think together, in good company, about what shapes human behaviour in difficult moments.
Booking recommended Here - cost is EUR 15 PP
Come solo, bring a friend, or just observe. All are welcome.
