Where do we feel most at home — and what does it really mean to belong?
This evening, we’ll explore how place, memory, and identity shape our sense of rootedness — and what happens when that feeling shifts or disappears.
Tonight’s questions are:

1. Is belonging something you find — or something you build?
2. If someone asked you, “Where are you from?” — how would you really want to answer?
3. Where do you feel most “at home” — and what makes it feel that way?

This is a non-moderated discussion. We provide the questions and the space — then it’s up to you to unwrap the theme.
There’s a philosopher in all of us — usually hiding behind the day’s to-do list.
This is a free event to attend, and there is tea and coffee available to buy at the studio.

In this group discussion, we’ll reflect on what it really takes to sustain close friendships — not just in good times, but through misunderstanding, disappointment, and the natural flow of life, inspired by the bookThe Secrets of Successful Friendships by The School of Life.

We'll consider:

• What emotional needs we expect friendships to meet — and which they can’t
• Why some connections feel “easy,” and others always take effort
• How envy, comparison, and pride quietly strain closeness
• What honesty and forgiveness look like in mature friendship

This is not a lecture, but a guided reflective workshop combining insight, conversation, and personal reflection. We study a psychology book to bring you the insights and structure the discussion, the cost is EUR 15 PP.
