In this Reflect & Connect session, we’ll explore the psychology and emotional skills of Getting On With Your Colleagues.
Together, we’ll unpack what sits beneath workplace tension, why so many conflicts feel strangely personal, and how we can relate to colleagues with more clarity, maturity, and humanity.
We'll get through a series of reflective exercises, exploring:
- Why working with others is emotionally demanding — even in “good” workplaces
- How defensiveness, people-pleasing, and cynicism quietly disrupt collaboration
- Why miscommunication is the rule, not the exception — and how to soften it
- How to handle frustration, difference, and imperfect personalities (including our own)
- What emotional maturity looks like at work — in real, everyday situations
This is not a lecture, but a guided reflective workshop combining insight, conversation, and personal reflection.
