What is CONFIDENCE made of — and why does it feel so uneven, fragile, or elusive?
Why can we hold ourselves boldly in one area of life, and crumble in another?
In this Reflect & Connect session, we’ll explore the ideas and exercises from The Confidence Cards by The School of Life.
Together, we’ll look at what truly builds self-belief, that lets us move through the world with steadiness and self-trust.
We'll move through a series of gentle written prompts and small-group conversations exploring themes like:

  • The hidden childhood messages that shaped your sense of worth
  • Why we underestimate our abilities — and overestimate other people’s ease
  • How self-criticism becomes a habit, and how to loosen its grip
  • What it means to act with courage even when fear is present

No prior knowledge of the cards is needed — just curiosity and openness.
This is not a lecture, but a guided reflective workshop combining insight, conversation, and personal reflection.
