We take things personally, misread intentions, jump to conclusions, and later realise we were operating from, for example, fear or insecurity. Being human is complex and sometimes hilarious.
This evening, we’ll explore the lighter (and wiser) side of misunderstanding, projection, and hindsight.

### Warm-up question:

What would an alien find funniest about how humans behave?

### 3 questions we’ll unwrap on the night:

  • What’s something you once took very personally that now seems almost funny?
  • Have you ever completely misread someone’s intention? What happened?
  • What belief about “how people are” have you revised over time?

This is a non-moderated discussion. We provide the questions and the space — then it’s up to you to unwrap the theme.
There’s a philosopher in all of us — usually hiding behind the day’s to-do list.
We’ll be meeting at The Beacon Pub, Salthill. The event is free, and we’d appreciate you ordering a drink at the bar to support the venue, who generously reserve a room for our group.
