We spend a surprising amount of time trying to control things that may never have been ours to control in the first place.

The future. Other people's opinions. The outcome of our efforts. Sometimes even luck.

But where does healthy influence end and the illusion of control begin?

This evening, we'll explore what can we genuinely control and what might become easier if we stopped trying to control it.

### Questions we'll unwrap on the night:

1. What parts of life do you think are genuinely under our control, and which ones aren't?
2. Why do we often prefer an unpleasant certainty over an uncertain possibility?
3. Do we try to control what other people think of us? How much control do we really have?

This is a non-moderated discussion. We provide the questions and the space — then it's up to you to unwrap the theme.
There's a philosopher in all of us — usually hiding behind the day's to-do list.

We'll be meeting at The Oslo Pub (Galway Bay Brewery), Salthill, at the back.
