✍️ Letters & Little People: Create Your Own Fonts + Figure Scripts!

Ever wanted to invent your own fancy handwriting or playful lettering style? Or create tiny figure-based script characters that look like they’re dancing across the page? Join us for a fun, creative session of letter art, imagination, and a bit of storytelling — no calligraphy skills needed!
This session is all about exploring your own personal font — from curly serifs to graffiti flair, comic bubble letters, or figure-like letterforms that walk, lean, or dance.

### What we’ll be doing:

• Inventing your own hand-drawn font (a unique A–Z set)
• Playing with letter shapes, spacing, and flair
• Creating mini figure script: tiny humanoid characters made of letter parts (think of letter ‘A’ with arms, ‘O’ jumping, ‘L’ lounging)
• Doodling short words or messages using your new script
• Optional: mix with watercolor washes or ink to decorate

### What I’ll bring:

• Paper, pencils, fineliners, markers
• Sample inspiration sheets (fancy fonts, playful alphabets, mini-figures)
• Grid sheets for font design
• Optional watercolors and brush pens

### What you can bring:

• Your favorite pens, markers, or brush pens
• Any lettering examples or ideas you love
• Sketchbook or blank notebook if you'd like to make a personal font journal
• Snacks or drinks to share (optional!)
