This event is a fun gathering to talk about all things environmental, intended for anyone working, volunteering, studying or just interested in "green" issues. Join us for networking, info, gossip, or just for the craic!

This month we'll hear from Dr. João Frias, a marine researcher working in the fields of marine litter, microplastics and ocean literacy at ATU. He will discuss his research project Waves of Change: Carbon Footprint Audit with families in Co. Galway. The project aims to promote sustainable development and circular economy values through ocean literacy and stakeholder engagement, by working with artists, citizens and families. The talk will explore the sustainable journey of 10 families across Co. Galway to better understand the waste generation and energy consumption within their households. Join us to have a dialogue about individual and household practices that save time, energy and money.

Cost is free (donations welcome) but please keep your RSVP up to date as space is limited. This event is presented by the Rhodo Rangers.
