Green Drinks will be transitioning to a new organizing team, thanks to Jennifer from Rhodo Rangers for all her hard work over the years!!
This is a monthly meet up for a bit of craic and all things "green" in Galway city.
Green Drinks is a fun gathering for anyone working, volunteering, studying or just interested in environmental issues.
Join us for networking, info, gossip, or just for the craic about all things "green"! We'll be in the big room upstairs at Screenes.
This month we'll be joined by Javier Santoyo to discuss climate and nature policy and how that translates into communities and local action. He will provide an introductory overview of regulatory compliance vs voluntary, and what that means at the local level in Galway amid a rapidly worsening climate and biodiversity crises.
Cost is free (donations welcome) but RSVP's are requested through EventBrite. This event is presented by Green Sod Ireland and Galway Beach Cleaners.
