Hi everyone,

It's been a while since our last event but GAIM will be coming back on Thursday 13th December!

Our two speakers will be:

Michael Matteas (University of California, Santa Cruz)
Gemini: An Interlinked Model of Game Generation and Interpretation

Sam Devlin (Microsoft Research)
Learning to Play Multiplayer Games in Minecraft
Based on the recent open-source release of Project Malmo enabling Minecraft as a platform for AI experimentation, we are running a series of competitions and workshops on learning to play multiplayer games. In this talk I will summarise the platform and competition, highlighting key challenges for AI when acting in complex, multiagent, 3D environment

This meetup we will be trying something new. Instead of a third speaker, we want to give all of you the opportunity to give a quick flash talk about your game AI projects. This is a great opportunity to share your ideas and get valuable feedback from our community. Please let us know in advance if you'd like to give a flash talk so we have some idea of potential numbers.

We're looking forward to seeing you all there!
