Key details:
- Sat, Apr 18th, Beacon Hill, Boston MA: Church on the Hill.
- This event is hosted by the Boston Game Makers Guild, but everyone is welcome to attend.
- Fellow board gamer (and designer!) Hien was kind enough to offer the Game Makers Guild this amazing venue to open up as a board game DAY for all!
- The venue is walkable from the Green, Blue, and Orange Lines. There is also meter parking on Bowdoin Street. The app Spot Hero may be helpful.
- Food and drink are allowed inside, but absolutely no alcohol or smoking anywhere on the premises.
- "All day" playtesting in multi-hour blocks, and join for open playtesting after the last block!
- If you are a playtester and arrive during a block, we cannot guarantee to fit you into a game. If you are a designer and arrive during a block, we cannot guarantee you playtesters.
- This will ***not ***be our annual GMG membership meeting. Expect that in Jul or Aug.
- Yes, free PIZZA dinner compliments of your fellow GMG members. Would you like to help make events like this happen too? Then, please make an annual donation here ($50/yr goes a long, long way to help your fellow game designers!)
- No cost (unless you'd like to donate above, but honestly, no cost!)
- Anyone is welcome, including your favorite play testers. Any minors will need an adult while they're there.
- Food plan: Bring/buy your own lunch. Pizza dinner ~7PM.
Your next steps:
- Indicate via this MeetUp invite that you intend to come by filling out the form even if you aren’t bringing a game (or, indicate you can't come so we know to reach out when we plan the next one!)
- Get the word out to other designers and playtesters!
- Join the discussion on our Discord Channel!
What to bring:
Your prototype, water, lunch, a good attitude!
Get your game out there!
