Scrabble Unserious

NOTE: The final Unserious Scrabble game for the summer season in Concordia Commons will be Thursdays, Aug. 14 and 21. No game Thursday, Aug. 7 or Thursday, Aug. 28.

Our Unserious Scrabble game finishes in about an hour. We have three boards so as many as 12 can play. We have 11 "blank" tiles, plus each month has a theme. Players making a word on the theme get double points for that word. We have the latest "Scrabble Dictionary" on hand so that players can hunt for words using the tiles they have. No cell phone searches allowed, though. The games are part of Game Night in the Concordia Commons, 30th Ave. & NE Killingsworth St., and are sponsored by the Concordia Neighborhood Association. We start at 5:00 and end by 7:00 p.m.
