Boardgaming in St John's County near World Golf Village

Hello!

This will be the third bi-montly meeting focused on Medium-Heavy Boardgames. This event is not for light card games or party games. We love to have fun and emphasize a light and happy atmosphere... but the games will tilt heavy! It's just our version of fun!

The location is excellent and the store staff were very helpful and glad to have us.

A "heavy" game will typically have a 1/2 hour rules explanation an take 3+ hours (leisurly but prompt) to complete. There will be a multiplicity of options each turn, and the best choice won't be obvious. On your first play you might feel a bit overwhelmed, but after that, you will have a firmer grasp on the decision space and will come to some level of competency in 3 or 4 plays.

"Lite" games can be explained in less than 5 minutes and typically feature no more than two or three simple options each turn. They are over in well less than an hour.

Medium games are somewhere in the middle!

Feel free to bring games that "fit" and be prepared to teach them, We will do the same.

The playspace is UPSTAIRS (accessible by elevator) at a local PUBLIX grocery store. There is a food court and a starbucks in-store, and we encourage patronage.
