Boardgaming in St John's County near World Golf Village

Hello!

This will be the SIXTH bi-montly meeting focused on Medium-Heavy Boardgames. This event is not for light card games or party games. We love to have fun and emphasize a light and happy atmosphere... but the games will tilt heavy! It's just our version of fun!

The location is excellent and the store staff are very helpful and glad to have us.

A "heavy" game will typically have a 1/2 hour rules explanation an take 2-4 hour to complete. There will be a multiple options each turn, and the best choice won't be obvious. On your first play you might feel a bit overwhelmed, but should feel confident in 3 or 4 plays.

"Light" games can be explained in less than 5 minutes and typically feature no more than one or two simple options each turn (should I do this , or that?) and take less than an hour to play.

Medium games are somewhere in the middle!

Feel free to bring games that "fit" and be prepared to teach them, We will do the same.

The playspace is UPSTAIRS (accessible by stairs and elevator) at a local PUBLIX grocery store. There is a food court and a coffee shop in-store, and we encourage patronage. Beer and wine are available for purchase and consumption.
