Have fun making a game at our relaxed jam. Take part alone or in a team. Make any kind of game or anything to do with games. Free to enter!
If you've never been to a game jam before, welcome! Here is what to expect:- We'll announce a theme at 9:50. You have till 5pm to make a game based on it.
- We are a mix of total beginners, university students and professionals. You can team up with others or work alone.
- If you're new to this, we can slot you into a team on the morning. You could write dialogue, make art, sound effects, play test - whatever you can do.
- The atmosphere will be relaxed. No one expects you to make something great. Just have fun, meet fellow game-makers and maybe learn something new.
- It doesn't have to be a video game - board and card games, RPGs etc are super too.
- Bring whatever tools you'll need (including laptop, if you're making a digital game). We have some computers here, but possibly not enough for everyone.
