Sac Jam #04 Lets stop talking about games and make them!

Just like in the previous Game Jam this time period will be all about making games! Then at the end of the day we will present each of the games the teams created.

Schedule

1pm Give people time to come in and Meetup introduction

1:20pm to 1:35pm Devin Becker (https://www.meetup.com/gamedeveloper/members/11444448/) will give quick intro on how to properly "jam" at a Game Jam.

1:40pm break up into teams

2:00pm to 6:30pm Make a game!

6:40pm to 7:00pm present projects

There will be free snacks offered by the lovely people at 5th Planet Games, it's in Roseville but trust me... The place rocks!

Requirements:

BRING A LAPTOP!!!! OR A COMPUTER OF SOME SORT!!!

Although you can still come if you are a designer, or an idea person, please make sure you bring some paper or something to be productive. The time is limited so needs to be spent building not chatting ;-) Just like before I will bring a bin of supplies if anyone is interested in making a table top game.

Ludum Dare (http://www.ludumdare.com/compo/) is a very popular online game jam that will be taking place April 20-21 and is perfectly aligned with our Jam! So the theme for our jam will be the same as the one for Ludum Dare so you can enter in that as well!
