UPDATE: Due to the current lockdown, we'll be hosting this in our Discord to host this and allow freedom for people to come in and hangout, play-test your games, or just play any games you'd like!

Additional note: this Dev Day meetup will also be taking place after our Asset Jam is over, so it also doubles as a chance to check out all the submissions from the Asset Jam.

A meetup event where you can come chill with friends and make games!

This is a good opportunity to come meet your community members in a low stress environment while you work on gamedev or just chill out!

Bring games (digital or tabletop) to play for fun or play test your friend's in development games!

Since we're using the makerspace at Sacramento Public Library, there's endless different things you could do either by yourself or with other game devs!

Available Free Amenities:

  • 2 3D printers, along with computers that have the software for you to play around with 3D Modeling.
  • 3 different synthesizers that you can play around with if you want to learn more about sound design
  • Studio 1 Software, which is a recording software
  • Oculus VR, for testing or playing
  • keyboard
  • drum set (not available during our meetup but can be scheduled through appointments by emailing make@saclibrary.org)
