March 16 Session Details: In our upcoming session, we'll build upon the foundations established in the first workshop. Specifically, we'll cover:

  • Creating and implementing Area2D nodes to detect interactions with the balls to catch them
  • Programming keyboard controls for player movement
  • Setting up win conditions for the game
  • Implementing a scoring system to track balls caught
  • Adding sound effects to enhance gameplay feedback
