You saw what you shouldn’t have, the veil pulled back from the secret world and the monsters who prowl it. You chronicled the tragedies they wrought, these monsters, and the victims upon whom they preyed. You grasped the extent of their influence and witnessed the corruption of the organizations formed to keep them in check. And you vowed to do something about it. Tonight, you act. It’s time for a Reckoning.

The woman whimpered as the stranger reached out and caressed her cheek. He smiled and drew closer as if to kiss her neck. Suddenly he pulls back a look of utter shock upon his face. His arms drop to his side as he looks down at the wooden stake protruding from his chest. As he falls to the ground the woman leans over him, "Bet you didn't see that coming!" With a wicked grin Christine pulls a can of lighter fluid from her purse and begins to squirt it all over the creature which appears to have become paralyzed from the wooden appendage. His eyes radiated fear and loathing. Lighting a wooden match from a box she giggled gleefully as she looked the creature in it's eyes now desperate with fear, "Go to hell with the rest of your spawn." she spits at him dropping the match and walking away. The supernatural has always been a subject of some controversy. Some believe it fits into a pocket of reality while others are quite certain it is just extreme imagination. There are those however, who know these things to be real based on personal experience. YOU are amongst the later! You have encountered these supernatural phenomenon and lived to tell of it. You have learned that most people don't want to know the truth and so you have chosen to be the protectors of humanity.
