South Austin - Games & Grub

Come join us for weekly board games in South Austin!

We'll typically be playing medium-weight strategy board games that will take between 1.5-2.5 hours. Most games we play will go up to 4-5 players. It's very likely that you'll play 1-2 games based on the time.

Whether you're new to board games or just interested in trying new ones out, we're always happy to teach and share a great gaming experience.

If you have some games of your own, please bring them and let others know in the comments! We rely on our attendees to both bring and teach games to make the event a success.

The area we play in is an open air covered patio with heaters/fans, so it can be a bit colder or hotter depending on the weather.... but it's normally still comfortable. In the summer, be prepared to sweat a little.

A few notes to make these events run smoothly:

• If you want to attend, please RSVP to let us know to look for you.
• We'll wait for stragglers until 6:40. If you show up later than that - you may not be able to get into a game. Sorry - better luck next time!
• If you're not able to attend, update your RSVP to make sure our organizers know not to wait up for you. If you RSVP yes and no-show 3 times, we will remove you from the group.
• Plan to stay the entire time, although your game may end earlier. It's no fun if you have to drop from a game halfway through.
• Have a game that you'd really like to play? Bring it along! It might not get played, but having options is great.

Once the clock strikes 6:40, we'll divide into groups based on the games that have been brought, the number of players, and everyone's interest.

Make sure to grab some food and beverages from the venue to support them out as well! Outside food and drink aren't allowed.
