Games for Grown-ups | August Round 1 [In-person and online]

In-person gaming has returned to Vernon Area Library! Don't worry, the virtual Games for Grown Ups program will continue on as well, giving everyone the option to join in-person or virtually via our Discord Server.

IN-PERSON: If you would like to participate in-person, we recommend you register with the library. The library has a collection of games and Adam, your host, will bring a collection of 50-60 games to every event, and will always bring the game of Crokinole along.

The Gang
A game where you are playing cooperative Texas Hold'em Poker. In each round, each player is trying to order the strength of their hands compared to all other people. After the river is dealt, players have one last opportunity to order hands by strength. Based on success or failure in the previous round gives you added hurdles or helpers in your next round.
