Games on Tap: Crokinole Solos @ Trellis Brewing

With the help of some friends, we are hosting a Crokinole Tournament again!
All are welcome to come learn and enjoy the great game that is Crokinole. We will be doing a solo/singles tournament throughout the day.
Free to enter and no experience required!
11:00 AM — Brewery opens. Registration, warm-up.
12:00 PM — Welcome and rules. We’ll cover the major rules and take questions. If you have any questions about NCA rules, email me ahead of time, or just show up at 11 and we’ll get you up to speed.
12:30 PM — Morning round robin. We’re aiming for ~12 games, each timed at 8 minutes, with 2 minutes between to rotate. A game is 4 rounds, 8 discs per player per round; all four rounds happen inside the 8 minutes. If you haven’t played on a timer before, it will feel fast so be ready.
2:30 PM — Break. 30–60 minutes to tally scores and reset the room.
3:00 (ish) PM — Afternoon round robin start. This year we are attempting an afternoon round robin to maximize games played. We’ll split the field into 3 groups based on your morning results, so you’re playing people at a similar skill level. You’ll play everyone in your group. This will hopefully be another ~8 games
5:30 PM (Hopefully) — Group playoffs. Top 4 from each group play a short bracket to settle 1st–4th in that group.
6:00 PM (Fingers Crossed) — Awards for Group A, then open play for as long as you want.
