We are cross-posting this event for a group that is just getting off the ground. This is an official sponsored event of the Cobb County Library System. The group will meet the second Sunday of each month at the Switzer Library (formerly the Central Library, off Marietta Square). The inaugural get-together is this Sunday, January 8th, 2023.

With the successful return of the Alpharetta meetup at the beginning of the month, this is the next location we are bringing back. As noted in our previous post about the return, please remember the following rules in regards to health and safety:

1. Any posted safety guidelines for any meetup location must be followed. We are there as customers in most cases, but our presence for hours longer than the typical customer also makes us guests. In recognition of that, we will follow their rules accordingly.

2. The second rule is an initial requirement that I will re-evaluate as things move forward. For the first month (at least), I am instituting a vaccination requirement. As overall updates come out, I will update this policy. For now, however, I am asking attendees to be prepared to show proof of vaccination. We will not be tracking this, so make sure to bring it along as I can not guarantee myself or other organizers will always remember who has previously shown proof. A picture of your vaccine card on your phone is acceptable.

Our Monday night Meetup takes place at Jason's Deli on Ashford-Dunwoody Road, near Perimeter Mall. We'll have open play from 5:00 to 10:00. Bring your favorites or pull up a chair and join a game! See you there!

The last years has been tough for everyone. We have not been able to do public gaming meetups for a while. We will be bringing them back slowly, giving me a chance to evaluate things as they return. That said, there are two rules that everyone needs to be aware of.

Yes, I understand that these rules may leave some people out initially. Please understand that this is not anything personal, but just the line that must be drawn to keep things safe and manageable.
