The Great Galactic War (3681 BBY): After 1,300 years in hiding following the Great Hyperspace War, the "True" Sith Empire returns from Wild Space to launch a massive surprise assault on the Galactic Republic.
The Sacking of Coruscant (3653 BBY): Feigning peace talks, the Sith fleet executes a brutal surprise invasion of the Republic capital, annihilating the Jedi Temple and taking the entire world hostage.
The Treaty of Coruscant (3653 BBY): To save their capital, the Republic signs a highly unfavorable peace treaty, dividing the galaxy in half and forcing the Jedi to exile themselves to their ancient home world of Tython.
The Cold War Era (3653 – 3643 BBY): A tense, eleven-year political stalemate gripped by proxy wars, espionage, and Skirmishes.
Your characters will start during the middle of this Cold War Era. We will be using Saga Ed of Star Wars for game play, it is basically 3.5/Pathfinder rules except for Star Wars.
We will decide before game play if you will be on the Republic or Sith Empire’s side.
All the character classes are open to you such as:
Republic Classes
Jedi Knight: A melee-focused class wielding lightsaber(s), excelling in tanking or damage dealing as well as using force powers to enhance their physical abilities.
*Jedi Apprentice, you may want to start as an apprentice to a Jedi-Master.
Jedi Consular: A Force-oriented class specializing in healing or ranged damage. Focuses on diplomacy, wisdom, and mental force abilities.
Jedi-Shadow: A type of rogue/spy but is part of the consular archetype. A hybrid between the consular and jedi knight class.
Republic Trooper: Medium to Heavy armored and ranged combat specialists, capable of tanking or dealing damage with blasters and other weapons.
Several sub-types are available such as Republic Commando or other specialized military MOS such as Demolitions, Sniper, Communications, Heavy Weapons, Combat Medic, Intelligence/Reconnaissance, and etc...
Republic Officer: A highly trained and educated solder who commands the troopers or naval personnel in the Republic Armed Services. You pick the specific armed services for this class.
Smuggler: A rogue, pirate, or mercenary class that could be good, or neutral, or even quite bad. Any class could become a smuggler or mercenary. One can be a smuggler on either side or on no side.
Sith Empire Classes
Sith Warrior: Melee combatant with lightsabers, capable of tanking or high damage output. Embodies aggression and power in their fighting styles and in force powers they choose.
Sith Inquisitor/Sorcerer: Force user with healing or ranged damage abilities, often using Force lightning and telekinesis and mind controlling and manipulating powers.
Sith Assassin: Like the Jedi Shadow but on the dark side. These work well with Imperial agents and Imperial commando teams.
Bounty Hunter/Mercenary: Specializing in ranged or close quarter combat (CQB) with carbines, heavy weaponry, missiles, vibro-blades, explosives and etc…
These could come from any planet, but Mandaloreans are the most famous among them.
Imperial Agent: usually a stealthy class using cover and precision attacks, excelling in tactical and long-range combat, as well as espionage, assassination, and sabotage.
-One could also be this class on the republic side in the Republic SIS-Strategic Intelligence Service.
Imperial Soldier: Similar to the Republic Trooper class. A professionally trained soldier who serves the Empire. A basic enlisted grunt to start out but picks specific MOS.
Imperial Commando/Special Forces: Usually a veteran Imperial soldier who has become more specialized with training and missions.
Imperial Officer: A highly educated and specialized soldier who commands the regular and or special forces soldiers in the Imperial Army and Navy. Pick which branch you specialize in.
