Program: Mica Shift Techniques
Demo Leader: Robin Salter
This demonstration will show several ways to take advantage of the unique properties of metallic clay to create special effects. The demo will highlight techniques developed by Pier Voulkos, Mike Buesseler, and Donna Kato.

Supplies & Tools:

• Basic clay tools
• Metallic or pearl clay. Bring more than one color, such as a gold and a pearl green, etc.
• Translucent clay
• Texture sheet(s)
• Texture tools (sharp pointy tools, wire brush, etc.)
• Optional: If you would like to make your own custom metallic clay colors, bring a white or off-white metallic clay such as Premo Pearl and regular clay in the color(s) you would like to create.
