We are happy to announce that Rogério Robetti will be our special guest for this second (of two) meetings in December.

Abstract

Open J Proxy (OJP) is an open-source project that rethinks JDBC data source interactions for Java applications. By providing built-in backpressure through controlled connection handling and a built-in circuit breaker, also introducing slow query segregation - ensuring long-running queries cannot monopolize the pool resources - OJP delivers predictable performance, improved fault tolerance, and stronger reliability.

With seamless integration into modern Java stacks, OJP empowers developers to build database-driven systems that remain responsive under heavy load.
