Drop your plants off early and attend a free lecture about using native plants in the landscape to prepare your garden for climate change, and bring native plants from your garden to exchange with others.> Native Plants Lecture
> This free lecture will take place from 9:15-10:15 a.m. in the Horticultural Center. Space is limited; seating will be on a first-come, first-served basis.

> Plant Exchange
>
> * Drop-off from 8:30-10:15 a.m.
> * Only plants native to the Mid-Atlantic Region of the United States will be accepted.
> * Bring plants established in four-inch, one quart, or 1-2 gallon containers to exchange with like sizes. Label all plants.
> * Houseplants may be exchanged (do not need to be native).
> * Each participating household will receive one free native plant (while supplies last).

> Information about using native plants in the landscape (including plant lists for shade, sun, deer resistance, etc.) can be found in the links below. Any plant listed in those references are appropriate for the exchange.
