It's time for another visit to the Cool Beans Cat Café! They have a new owner and new downtown Gastonia location, so let's check out the new digs, support a fun local business, and - most importantly - meet some fabulous kitties.
There is a full espresso and coffee menu available, as well as Italian sodas and lemonades. They also have a small selection of sweet treats available, including cupcake parfaits and cheesecake. Let's grab a drink and then head back into the cat room to play with some friendly felines.
It is an additional $7/half hour or $10/hour for admission to the cat area. All of the cats come from a local rescue group and are available for adoption. One of my own cats was actually adopted from Cool Beans a couple years ago.
You are more than welcome to bring a guest along - just add your +1 when RSVPing. There is a limit to the number of people allowed to visit with the cats at one time, however, so attendance for this event is capped at six people. Please try to keep up with your RSVPs and avoid any last minute cancellations.
