"Read Between the Wines" Book Club at "Elena's Argentinian Restaurant"

We will be meeting at a new location for the May Meetup of "Reading Between the Wines." Let's check out and support a new local restaurant called "Elena's Argentinian Café." Their menu includes Argentinian pizzas, sandwiches, empanadas, cakes and other pastries. Beverages include a variety of coffee drinks and smoothies.

The May Meetup will be Monday, May 19. The group meets on the 4th Monday of each month, but we are meeting a week earlier because of the Memorial Day holiday. The really cool thing about our book group is that we choose a book "topic" rather than a specific book. It certainly keeps the creative thought flowing + it's great to hear how our members decide on the book they choose!

Our book topic for May is "Spring is Springing." Think about that for a minute! Lots of possibilities here. Go ahead. Pick a book and start reading.

Last month, our members selected books for "Poetry Month." Check out the featured photo. It shows the books of poetry that we brought to the book club and discussed. Lots of memories surfaced...and even an original haiku or two were recited. There's always something interesting going on.
