"Read Between the Wines" Book Club at Ride-A-Bike

PLEASE NOTE: We are meeting on the 3rd Monday for the month of October. November's meeting will return to the 4th Monday.

We generally choose a "topic" for our monthly event. For October, we have chosen an "author" instead. We will choose books written by Carl Hiaasen. He is known for his humorous crime thrillers set in Florida. They feature casts of eccentric, sometimes grotesque characters and satirize aspects of American popular culture. Some of his themes are related to environmentalism and political corruption in his native state. But...he has also written some young adult books, most notably "Hoot." Find a Carl Hiaasen book and be prepared to discuss!!!

This is a very popular group and we cap the attendance at 10. Please RSVP early and make sure to attend. You are welcome to bring beverages and snacks for yourself or to share with the group.
