"Bavarian Holiday Fest" - Belmont

NOTE: Unfortunately, we can't do everything! There are many fun holiday parades, tree lightings, and holiday markets. I hope you will support all that you can in the many small towns in Gaston County. With that said, I have chosen a daytime event on a weekend so that many of our members can participate. Please join us is you can...and bring your friends!

Let's meet in downtown Belmont for this festive day! According to Downtown Belmont's Facebook page, the streets come alive with traditional polka dancers, the aroma of warm pretzels, and hot spiced wine. Sample seasonal offerings from local breweries, browse handcrafted treasures from talented artisans, and take part in gingerbread cookie decorating! The one day festival brings to mind a European winter market. Let's gather and enjoy the day.

I am making the Meetup spot in front of the Belmont Book Shop at 2 pm. It's convenient and easy to find. From there, we can make plans for enjoying the festival then meeting later (maybe 3 pm) for food and drink inside one of the local restaurants in the downtown area.
