"Les Misérables" at FUMC - Gastonia
Details
"Les Misérables" is coming to Downtown Gastonia at the FUMC Theatre (First United Methodist Church). The play is based on the historical novel by Victor Hugo. Performed in its entirety in concert. It's one of the world's most popular musicals. Set against the backdrop of 19th century France, Jean Valjean is released after 19 years of unjust imprisonment to find nothing in store for him but mistrust and mistreatment. Les Misérables tells an enthralling story of broken dreams, unrequited love, passion, and sacrifice - a timeless testament to the survival of the human spirit.
Let's meet for the 7:30 pm performance on Saturday evening, November 21. Admission is free. Donations are encouraged. Bring your family and friends and experience the magic of live theatre!
Reserve your spot online at fumcgastonia.org/theatre
No cap on attendance. Invite guests. The church / theatre has asked that we not sign up unless we plan to show up since there are a limited number of tickets per performance. And...please plan to make a donation to support this theatre. That's what we do...support local.
NOTE: As we get closer to the date, I will send out an invitation to meet for drinks at the new speakeasy in downtown Gastonia before the play. The play begins at 7:30. We will probably meet at the speakeasy at 6 pm. It is literally steps away from the theatre!
