Floating and Overnight Camping, Black River!!

We are going floating on the Black River, about 16.5 miles, with an overnight on a gravel bar. This combines the best of both activities!! Mark your calendars and be ready!! The weather is going to be 85 degrees and sunny! Just Beautiful.

Combining with SLAG group so there are only 3 spots available here. Limit of 24 total attendees going. :)

Trip Details.............
Meeting place, by 7:00am, is at Jeff's Canoe Rental. This is also our take out so we are leaving vehicles here. We will load the bus, outfitter is hauling the kayaks/canoes, and leave at 8am. They will not wait on late comers!! Our put in point is Parks Bluff Campground's access point in Lesterville.

Cost.............
$20 to haul your body.
$40 per boat for the shuttle with your boat, kayak/canoe.
$60 to rent a kayak for two days ($30/day) (includes shuttle).
$100 to rent a canoe for two days ($50/day) (includes shuttle).

What to bring...........
Everyone has to have a mask for the bus ride!! No exceptions.
Everyone needs a PFD. Bring your own or pick up 1 with rental. Otherwise, you know what necessities to have when floating 2 days and camping 1 night. Please plan your food and drink accordingly. At least we won't have to rough it too much since we can load our vessels. :)

Reminder............
No glass bottles or styrofoam containers!! If you have the web bags or trash bags to pick up any discarded items along the way, by all means, please do bring them for picking up possible items. :) We like to leave trails and rivers cleaner than when we traveled them.
