Set in Victorian-era Concord, Massachusetts, this bold and empowering adaptation invites us to gather with the March family as Jo and her sisters come of age during the Civil War. Hamill’s take foregrounds sharp social commentary, humor, and New England charm, while centering women who are defining womanhood on their own terms.

Ladies' Tea - International Women's Day ($38)
The Vintage Tea And Cake Company, 129 Belmont St., Belmont, MA, USJoin us for a warm, inspiring Afternoon Tea celebrating International Women’s Day 🌸✨
On Saturday, March 7 at 2:00 PM, we’ll gather at the charming Vintage Tea and Cake Co. in Belmont, MA for an afternoon dedicated to connection, reflection, and celebration of women—past, present, and future.
This year’s International Women’s Day theme, “Give to Gain,” reminds us that when women support one another—through generosity, encouragement, shared wisdom, and community—we all rise. Over delicate teas, delightful finger sandwiches, beautiful cakes, and heartfelt conversation, we’ll celebrate the power of giving: giving our time, our voices, our care, and our solidarity.
Expect an open, uplifting atmosphere where you can:
- Connect with inspiring women from our community
- Enjoy a delightful traditional afternoon tea experience (menu)
- Reflect on what it means to give to others and ourselves
- Celebrate women’s strength, creativity, and resilience
You’ll be welcomed into a space of warmth, laughter, and meaningful connection. Wear purple (the official color of International Women's Day) if you’d like, bring your curiosity and your stories, and let’s toast to women supporting women—today and always.
