Boda Borg - Solve puzzles as a team! (all-day event; $43 per person)
Belmont Shaw's/Star Market Parking Lot, 535 Trapelo Rd, Belmont, MA, USWhat is Boda Borg?
Boda Borg is a large indoor amusement park located in Malden, MA (and around the world).
Explore the jungle, find out what’s going on in Area 51, solve the riddle of the Sphinx or conquer an obstacle course, and much more. You and your team decide which Quests to take on, and you can try as many as you like.
A Quest is a series of two to four themed challenges (rooms) that tests your ability to work as a team. Each team will have three to five people.
When you start a Quest, you won’t know your objective. You also won’t know how many challenges you will encounter – but if you fail you will need to start over. You also won’t know how much time you have…but it’s never more than a few minutes.
Your team must conquer unknown tasks, quickly, and be prepared to fail. If this sounds unfair, it is…the average team fails each Quest more than ten times! But when you fail, you get to try again as many times as you want using what you’ve learned. You’ll experiment and explore together, gradually conquering more and more Quests.
Accessibility:
Questing is suitable for people of all levels of physical ability. Green Quests are fully ADA accessible and have no strenuous activity. Red Quests typically involve some climbing on a structure or crawling on a padded surface, but nothing more intense than a playground. Black Quests are the most physical, and can go all the way to Ninja Warrior. Each team chooses which Quests to take on, so you can create your own experience.
