May 2024 Meeting of the History Explorers Book Club

The 75th meeting of the History Explorers Book Club will be Wednesday, May 29th at 6:30 pm at Gathering Volumes bookstore in Perrysburg, OH. As part of our mini-series "The Civil War From Different Perspectives" we'll be discussing "Rebel Richmond: Life and Death in the Confederate Capital" by Stephen V. Ash. This book tells the interesting and little known story of Richmond, Virginia, catapulted into prominence as capital of the Confederacy during the Civil War.
