January 2026 Meeting of the History Explorers Book Club

The 93rd meeting of the History Explorers Book Club will be Wednesday, January 28th at 6:30 pm at Gathering Volumes bookstore in Perrysburg, OH. For the second book in our three book series on ice we'll be discussing “Into the Ice: The Northwest Passage, the Polar Sun, and a 175-Year-Old Mystery” by Mark Synnott. Part travel adventure story, part history, this book covers the story of the Northwest Passage, specifically the doomed expedition of Sir John Franklin and a modern day attempt to recreate that journey.
