Book: The Desert Flower

Our February gatherpause book club gathering is dedicated to The Desert Flower, a powerful story of resilience, identity, and human dignity.
Participants are asked to read the book in advance. The gathering itself is a calm, discussion-based space — we do not read together. There is no analysis pressure, no performance, and no requirement to share personal experiences.

During the evening, we will also watch selected scenes from the film adaptation together, as a shared moment of reflection.

At the end of the evening, we will close with a small, gentle exercise. No tools or preparation are required, and participation is optional.

– This is a free event; but donations are welcome to support gatherpause
