This will be our 4th monthly meetup of 2016.

We will have 1 major talk (about 20-30 minutes), lightning talks (2-4 at about 5-8 minutes each), Q&A/problem-solving and automating ourselves away.

Attendees are welcome to attend part of the event and leave whenever they need to.

Event starts at 17:30, but we will formally have the first talk at 18:00, 2-3 lightning talks and then troubleshooting session.

The following talks will be presented (speakers confirmed - if you'd like to present something, get in touch):

• From Data to Product with Python - Vukosi Marivate

• Lightning talk 1: PDF with Python - Willem Hoek

• Lightning talk 2: APIs using Hug - Adam Piskorski

• Troubleshooting session: Do you have a problem you are working on and need help with it?

• Automation the Python way: We will be having a discussion on bringing about a few code challenges to help automate some of the processes. These include: linking up meetup to the static/Pelican website we have hosted on Github for event auto-update, creating a "who is hiring" bot to replace Hussain ( :-) ), etc.

We always welcome helping hands at the GPUG (and lessen the bus-factor). If you are feeling pythonspired this year, reach out to us (email, at the meetup, etc.) and we will gladly welcome your assistance for the GPUG.
