Beginner Programming Crash Course

Are you eager to learn the basics of programming? Have you always wanted to learn but found it too difficult or complicated to learn on your own?

If you answered YES to these questions, the GPUG is proud to present our first PAID workshop to help non-programmers get a kick-start on their coding journey.

Our customized curriculum will teach you the foundations of Python using a real-world example project.

You can expect to learn: variables, logic, input/output, 3rd-party libraries, multiple file usage, basic error-detection, etc.

Bonus: you will also be shown how to program using chatGPT.

What this course won't teach: web/app design, Flask/Django, Data Science toolkit

Event Info:

• In Centurion (Lyttelton), secured premises with secure parking
• Very affordable - R500 (our crash course is 10 TIMES cheaper than other Python courses in South Africa)
• Drinks (non-alcoholic) supplied by venue
• Limited availability (a maximum of 15 students only)

How to book:

1. RSVP for the event (and provide your email in the RSVP)
2. You will then receive banking details via email to EFT the full amount for your spot (attendees will be required to EFT within 48 hours to confirm their spots)
3. Once payment is received, attendees will receive full details of venue location
4. Upon final confirmation of the venue, attendees will only receive partial refunds thereafter (calculated on the total cost paid to the venue & other miscellaneous expenses related to event)
5. If no EFT is received, attendee will be marked as no-show
