Gay Dining Out Ireland

Dining Out is a social club for GAY MEN, which was formed in April 2002. The club meets for dinners in Dublin City Centre restaurants, with 15 to 30 people attending each meal. We also organise weekends away. Dinners are usually held on the 2nd Friday and on the last Saturday of the month. The meal price varies from restaurant to restaurant, but we try to get set menus where possible and we try to keep the bill between €45 and €65 per person. Dining Out also welcomes Guests and Visitors who may be just visiting Dublin for a short time and would like to join our friendly Group for a meal. It is hoped that the club will provide good opportunities for making new friends. Men of all ages are welcome.

Dining Out Ireland recently received recognition from President Michael D Higgins for its outstanding voluntary commitment to Gay Men's social wellbeing. The Dining Out Committee were invited to attend a special Garden Party at Aras an Uachtarain.

Due to the the limited availability of places in Restaurants, payment for meals must be made in advance through Revolut. Refund policy stated in event listing.

Annual membership of Dining Out for the calendar year (1st January to 31st December inclusive) is €20. You must be a paid up Member of Dining Out to travel on our away trips. There is also an option to attend a meal as a guest for a fee of €5.

Dining Out Ireland’s Code of Conduct:
This Code of Conduct outlines expectations for behaviour of DO participants. 
We commit to upholding values of Respect, Inclusivity, and Confidentiality. 
We agree to respect time boundaries, group agreements and DO arrangements. 
We do not tolerate discrimination or harassment of any kind. 
We do not tolerate any type of substance abuse during DO events. 
All members are welcome to approach the DO Committee for advice, support or other membership issues. 
By participating at DO meals and events, each member agrees to uphold this Code of Conduct.
Dining Out reserves the right to decline membership or participation in events.
