Hello everyone! This is a Santa Cruz–based queer hiking group meant for LGBTQIA+ folks seeking connection with nature and each other. We will meet 1-2 times a month to spend time in the outdoors with one another. Hikes are intentionally paced and open to all bodies, genders, backgrounds, and experience levels. You belong here!

I am so excited to introduce our first Gay in the Bay Hikers event! This is a 3.4 mile length loop with 511 feet of elevation gain. We will meet at the trailhead at 10am and depart at 10:15am. I believe that Henry Cowell requires paid parking, but that you are able to park along the road if spots are available. Please bring a full water bottle and shoes you are comfortable hiking in. I will bring some snacks to share :-)
