Gay Men & Dogs: Beach Walks + Community (Bay Area)

If you’re a gay guy who loves dogs, the ocean, and meeting kind, interesting people, this group is for you. We’ll explore Fort Funston and other dog-friendly, gay-friendly beaches around the Bay Area—walking, talking, laughing, and letting the dogs do what they do best.

After our walks, we’ll often stick around for a relaxed picnic or social hang. The goal is simple: connection, community, and spending time outdoors with people who get it.

Occasionally, for those who are interested, we may include a brief, optional moment of quiet or grounding—for example, a short reflection inspired by sympathetic joy (a Buddhist practice of appreciating shared happiness and well-being). Nothing formal, no experience required, and always optional.

Come for the dogs, stay for the friendships—and see what grows from there.
