Gay Men’s East Bay Pickleball

Join us for our second Gay Men’s East Bay Pickleball Meetup!!!

Where we’re playing:

This event will be held at the Cedar Rose Park Pickleball Courts in Berkeley. We have reserved court 3 for our event.

If we have enough people RSVP for the event, we will consider reserving an additional court. Please consider chipping in $3-5 for the reservation fees. Any additional funds will be put towards the Meetup fees or pickleballs for group use.

Please plan on bringing your own equipment, if possible. We will be able to provide pickleballs & additional paddles for those who need it.

How we’ll play:

We know that there will likely be a variety of skill levels present. To account for this, we will try to match teams with opponents of similar skill levels, or balance teams so that each team has a seasoned player with a newer player.

Winning pairs can play 2 consecutive games before moving off court. You have the choice to split up on the 3rd game and have the one person from new winning pair to keep playing. We will adjust the rotation as needed.

Winning is a great way to keep playing! Otherwise, hang out, chat, watch the game and make some friends while you wait for your turn.

Who's this event for:

This event is for gay and bi men (individuals who identify as male). Our straight allies are also welcome to join.

All skill levels are welcome! We just ask that you come with your best game face on and are prepared for a little competition and a great workout.

What to bring:

Bring comfortable clothes and shoes that you like working out in and wouldn’t mind sweating in. Bring water, a snack, and sunscreen. A hat and sunglasses. And most importantly, you! :)
