New Mapplethorpe Photograph Exhibit and Dinner

Please join us at the Gladstone Gallery to see their new exhibit of 16 new large-scale, limited-edition photographs by American photographer Robert Mapplethorpe (1946–1989), fulfilling a longtime wish of the artist. Organized in collaboration with the Robert Mapplethorpe Foundation, the exhibition features a selection of Mapplethorpe’s most iconic images. Most of these works are presented in a format of 60x60 inches, reflecting the artist’s desire to experiment with emerging technologies.

Following the exhibit (at 6PM approximately), we will walk to Pepe Giallo a moderately priced Italian restaurant at 195 10th Ave. between 21st and 22nd Sts. Please bring sufficient cash to pay for your dinner as sometimes restaurants are not willing to do individual checks for groups.
