The campy tiki lounge is calling because July’s Test Kitchen challenge—should you choose to accept it—is tiki bar food!
Picture rum-glazed pineapple meatballs (because why not?), spam sliders topped with charred pineapple rings, and coconut shrimp dramatically served in a pineapple bowl—preferably flaming.
For a sweet finale, consider haupia parfaits layered in cocktail glasses, banana lumpia with caramel drizzle, or shaved ice piled high and doused in neon syrups making a rainbow. Bonus points if your dessert comes with a paper umbrella or a plastic monkey.
Never tried wrapping leaves, hollowing out a coconut, or garnishing with an orchid? This is your chance. Whether you’re channeling a vintage Don the Beachcomber menu or inventing your own tiki fantasy, bring a dish and let’s luxuriate in the Aloha Spirit!
