For many gay men, dating can feel confusing, exciting, exhausting, and vulnerable all at once.

How do we decide who to pursue? By attraction? A smile? Shared values? Chemistry? A feeling we can’t explain?

And when we want closeness, why do we sometimes keep swiping, play games, stay guarded, or chase people who aren’t really available?

In this Beyond The Gay Mask circle, we’ll explore what is really happening beneath the surface of dating and relationships:

  • What we are actually looking for when we seek connection
  • The ways we protect ourselves from rejection, vulnerability, and intimacy
  • Why we sometimes hide parts of ourselves when dating
  • How apps, bars, and online spaces can make it easier to perform instead of be real
  • What it means to show up authentically and let ourselves truly be seen

This is not about giving advice or telling anyone who they should date. It is a space for honest reflection, meaningful conversation, and the chance to connect more deeply — with yourself and with others.

Whether you are single, dating, in a relationship, healing from one, or simply wondering why connection can feel so hard, you are welcome here.

Come open and present. Ready to listen. Ready to share. Ready to explore what might become possible when we stop performing, take off the mask, and allow real intimacy to emerge.

No pressure. No pretending. Just a space for real conversation and authentic connection.

A zoom link will be sent to participants prior to the call.
