Time to be Narrow-minded!
Details
A hearty walk along the Narrows up to the Brooklyn side of the Verrazano Bridge. There we will have views of the harbor, glorious Staten Island (where I live), and distant views of New Jersey. Then, a bit of walking through the streets of Bay Ridge to a local restaurant (Now--don't ask me to name it, or inquire as to what kind of cuisine, because I haven't found it yet!) The area does have a number of places to eat, and even picky group members should be able to find something suitable to their diet.
We will meet at 10:30 a.m. at the 95th Street station of the R train (the very last stop so even if you nod off you won't go past your stop). Bring some water or some kind of beverage.
Also important is to wear a cap with visor. We will be in an open area, and the sun will be directly in your eyes as your leader is pointing up (we will be nearly under the Verrazano Bridge).
Dress warmly, even if the temperature that morning is elevated for the time of year. It is usually considerably cooler out along the bay.
