Diversity and Data

On the next meetup we're going to talk about diversity, and the lack of it in our field. We will be joined by Julia Jonasson from WIN Sweden, a network for women at AB Volvo, who will speak about gender equality and how it affects innovation in technology companies.

If you would like to give a short presentation about how you or your company work with diversity issues, or how you struggle with them, send me a message in our Slack channel (if you haven't joined yet you can do that here: http://gbgdistr.herokuapp.com/), or leave a comment on this event on meetup.com. Presentations only need to be five minutes, and everyone can do it.

The meetup will be hosted by Burt and there will be food and drinks. There is a limit to the number of attendees, but there is always room for speakers.
