About GBGJS
GBGJS is Göteborg’s community for anyone passionate about JavaScript, from curious beginners to seasoned developers. We want to bring together people who love building things, share knowledge, explore new technologies, and grow together as developers.
What we do at our events
We host meetups featuring talks, demos, and workshops covering everything from modern JavaScript frameworks and tooling to backend and full-stack development. Whether it’s a deep dive into TypeScript or a beginner-friendly intro to React, our events are designed to inspire, educate, and connect.
Who should join
Everyone is welcome! If you’re learning JavaScript, using it in your day job, or just excited about the web, you’ll feel right at home. No matter your level of experience, this is a place to meet like-minded people, ask questions, and keep up with what’s happening in the JS world.
